Doctors and nurses are drawn to cities and abroad, leaving rural facilities short-staffed. Training and supporting health workers helps care last.

We hold data on 15 rural health centres across the Volta Region that need support. Each one serves a rural community that needs better care. These projects come to life when partners step in, and the sooner they do, the sooner families get care.

Questions before you give
How many rural health centres need support?
We hold data on 15 rural health centres in the Volta Region that need support. We share the portfolio with serious partners and shape each project with them.
What does TEKCHILLS do in health care?
We work with rural communities to bring care within reach. That means helping communities build clinics, equipping health facilities, sponsoring training for health workers, using practical technology and advocating for better rural health policy.
Why focus on rural health?
About half of Ghana's people live in rural areas, yet 73% of health facilities are in urban centres. Maternal mortality is 40% higher in rural areas, and health workers are leaving rural posts. Closing that gap saves lives.
Which communities will you work in first?
We are preparing our upcoming health care projects and will announce each one as it is confirmed. Tell us you are interested and we will notify you first, or contact us to talk about supporting a specific community.
Can our group visit and work in a rural community?
Yes. We welcome group trips to rural communities for health projects. Health professionals, company teams, university groups and community groups can join us in the field to support outreach, deliver supplies and see the work first-hand. We plan every trip with you, and all visits follow our Safeguarding Policy.
What will my gift pay for?
Gifts support health centre buildings, power and water, equipment, supplies, transport and training for health workers. Tell us your gift is for health care, and ask for a project brief and budget before you commit.
Can I donate medical equipment or supplies?
Yes. We welcome hospital and delivery beds, wheelchairs and hygiene products. Please arrange it with us first so that every item reaches a real need.
How is my money used?
85% of every gift goes directly to programme costs, 10% to monitoring and evaluation and 5% to administration. Year-by-year records since 2020 are available on request.
Can my company match employee gifts?
Yes. We are a verified nonprofit on Benevity, so employer matching and volunteer grants may apply.
How will I know my gift made a difference?
Partners receive milestone reports every quarter until a project closes, followed by a final impact summary.
How can we partner on a health centre?
You can adopt a centre, share one with other partners, build a portfolio across several centres, or fund a single need such as power, equipment or training. Contact us and we will design the partnership with you.
Can doctors, nurses or other professionals help?
Yes. We welcome clinical, operations and technology skills through our Expert Advisory and Pro Bono programme, which has already benefited from teams at F5 and SAP.
Will you recognise and promote our company as a partner?
Yes. We periodically spotlight our partners and tell the world about the work they do. When you back a project with us, your commitment can be shared across our website, newsletter and social channels, together with the people and places your support is reaching. Every spotlight is agreed with you first, and partners who prefer to give quietly are always welcome to stay private.
Is the foundation properly registered and accountable?
Yes. We are a registered nonprofit in Ghana, Reg. No. CG010572020, incorporated under the Companies Act 992. Our board reviews budgets, spending and outcomes every quarter.
Can I visit the project?
Yes. Field visits are arranged on request so that we can plan them with you. Visits follow our Safeguarding Policy, which protects children and communities.
