About Us

The TEKCHILLS Foundation is a licensed not-for-profit organization incorporated under the Companies Act 179, 1963 (Now Companies Act 992, 2019) of the Republic of Ghana with the core mandate to empower rural and deprived communities across Ghana to break the cycle of poverty, inferiority complex, illiteracy, and lack of resources that continued to hinder their socio-economic development.

Education

In the next five years, our educational projects aim to support over 25,000 children in rural communities to access quality value-based education in adequate facilities and resources.

Clean Water

Our Water for Life project aims to end the daily walk for water and eradicate waterborne illnesses. In rural areas, people spend more than 30 minutes in accessing clean water in rural communities of Ghana.

Health Care

The path out of poverty begins when the next generation can access quality healthcare. Lack of basic facilities continue to account for poor healthcare delivery in rural communities of Ghana.

Disability Support

Disabled people are the poorest and worst-served group in the world. The greater the level of general poverty in any community, the worse the conditions are for the people with disability.

Support For Orphans

Our sponsorship program aims to change the lives of orphans in some of the most deprived areas in Ghana. With your help, they will receive education, food, & healthcare that any child needs.

Elderly Support

Caring for those who once cared for us can be the highest honors on earth. Our goal is to support elderly people that are struggling in life after work life with essential items and services.

What We Do

  • To ensure quality value-based education is accessible to all children living in rural and deprived communities. TEKCHILLS will build new classrooms, renovate dilapidated classrooms, build libraries, ICT Labs, and provide adequate resources for effective learning and teaching.
  • To provide clean, safe, and accessible water and sanitation facilities for rural communities. TEKCHILLS will build sustainable community water points and sanitation facilities for deprived communities.

Clean Water

The goal of the project “Water for Life” is to eliminate the need for daily long walks to fetch water and eradicate waterborne diseases in rural areas. We are currently studying ten (10) rural and impoverished communities in Ghana’s Volta and Oti Regions, with a focus on their clean water requirements.

Youth Empowerment

Lack of skills leads to the continuation of poverty and inequality. Developing life skills decreases unemployment and enhances living standards. Equipping youth in rural communities with skills can achieve the alleviation of poverty.

Six Unit Classroom

Salom D/A Basic School will receive a six-unit classroom block through the project “Building Brighter Futures.” This initiative reflects our commitment to improving educational infrastructure and providing quality learning environments for children in our community.

Community Library

Providing children with a wide selection of books increases their chances of developing a long-lasting passion for reading. Unfortunately, not all children have an equal opportunity to engage in reading.
