About Us
Empowering rural Ghana to break the cycle of poverty.
The TEKCHILLS Foundation began its work in 2016 and was formally incorporated in February 2020 as a licensed not-for-profit organisation under the Companies Act 992 of the Republic of Ghana.
Our core mandate is to empower rural and deprived communities across Ghana to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and resource constraints that hinder their socio-economic development.

Every programme starts where help is most urgently needed and is built with the communities we serve.
01Goal: 25,000 children in 5 years
Education
In the next five years, our educational projects aim to support over 25,000 children in rural communities to access quality value-based education in adequate facilities and resources.

Water for Life project
Clean Water
Our Water for Life project aims to end the daily walk for water and eradicate waterborne illnesses. In rural areas, people spend more than 30 minutes accessing clean water.
03Closer to every community
Health Care
The path out of poverty begins when the next generation can access quality health care. Lack of basic facilities continues to account for poor health in rural areas.
04Sponsorship programme
Support for Orphans
A sponsorship programme that covers education, food and health care so that vulnerable children can grow up safe, nourished and learning.
05Dignity at every age
Elderly Support
Assistance and care for elderly people, who are often marginalised and isolated, through health care, social support and community engagement.
06Inclusion in community life
Disability Support
Support for people with physical disabilities so they can take part fully in the life of their community.
07Skills that end poverty
Life Skills for Youths
Equipping youth in rural communities with skills reduces unemployment and raises living standards.

Salom D/A Basic School will receive a six-unit classroom block through the project "Building Brighter Futures." This initiative reflects our commitment to improving educational infrastructure and providing quality learning environments for children in our community.

Providing children with a wide selection of books increases their chances of developing a long-lasting passion for reading. We have shortlisted and vetted over 300 rural schools that are ready to receive books.
- Water for Life
Clean Water
The goal of the project "Water for Life" is to eliminate the need for daily long walks to fetch water and eradicate waterborne diseases in rural areas. We are studying ten rural and impoverished communities in the Volta and Oti Regions.
- Life skills
Youth Empowerment
Lack of skills leads to the continuation of poverty and inequality. Developing life skills decreases unemployment and enhances living standards for young people in rural communities.

What is the TEKCHILLS Foundation?
A registered nonprofit in Ghana (Reg. No. CG010572020) that began in 2016 and was incorporated in February 2020 under the Companies Act 992. We build classrooms, bring clean water and open opportunity for children, youth and families in rural Ghana.
What impact have you had so far?
Our first literacy project has supported over 3,500 rural children. We now aim to support more than 25,000 children within five years through education, clean water and our other programmes.
Where do you work?
We are based in Ho, in the Volta Region, and work in rural communities across Ghana, including Salom Ada and communities in the Volta and Oti Regions.
How do you protect children and communities?
Safeguarding comes first. Our written Safeguarding Policy explains how we protect children and vulnerable people and how anyone can raise a concern.
How is my donation used?
Every gift goes to a named programme such as education, clean water, health care, orphan support, disability support or life skills. We manage funds to milestones and report openly, with reporting available on request.
Can I fund a specific project?
Yes. You can sponsor the six-unit classroom block at Salom D/A Basic School ($45,000), the Community Library, Water for Life or Youth Empowerment, and sponsors receive recognition and progress updates.
Can my company or employer support you?
